All families are asked to please bring your contribution (enough to feed 8-10) and to do so in a timely fashion so all rowers have something to eat. Rowers need nutritious food. A great web search is “healthy snack recipes”. You will get 303 matching sites and great ideas. US Rowing site also has nutrition information.

Some suggestions: Appetizers – veg.&dip. hummus & pita bread or JJ Flats, salsa and
baked chips, cheese & crackers, nuts, fruit fruit fruit Main Dishes – pizza, chili, tomato pie (especially from Marchiano's in Manyunk!) pasta salad, veggie wraps, hoagies, chicken fingers and/or wings, lasagna, casseroles, salad, Swedish meatballs Desserts fruit fruit fruit, brownies, cup cakes, dessert bars, dessert breads, cookies, trail mix, * bagels, jelly, butter, juice, fruit fruit fruit. The Crew Association supplies hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, tea, hot cider, and hot chocolate.

BECAUSE OF THE PARKING LIMITS. To make ferrying food and water to the tent easier, the Food Committee will arrange to transport contributions that families (a) leave on Saturday evening at the Spirit Dinner or (b) drop off in the morning, Location TBAnnounced!.
